It’s mid-June 2023 and we just finished our first group trip to Greece!
After much waiting and wishing for it, this year we were able to arrange a new group trip to a destination that had always attracted the attention of all our travelers. In fact, it was thanks to your comments on social networks that this trip was performed.

And the day came! We left for Greece together with a group of 17 travelers who accompanied us on this maiden voyage and we couldn’t miss the opportunity to tell you how this experience was and what were the best moments of this trip, sure -and that’s it 100 % confirmed- will be repeated next year 2024.

1. Party and beach in Mykonos -unmissable on a group trip to Greece
Our journey began on the island of Mykonos, the Greek paradise of parties, sun and sea. Some call it the Ibiza of Greece and say that the “reel” of Mykonos today has nothing to envy to its rival in the Balearic Islands, or that it is even better than the famous Spanish island. We don’t like to compare, but the truth is that Mykonos shines with its own neon lights and the gastronomic offer as well as bars and nightclubs is inexhaustible.
In BALIBUTA we have a party soul, yes, we assume it. Because we like to dance, sing and “perrear” all the way down from Puerto Rico to Europe -who would have thought that you could dance reggeaton on an island in the middle of the Aegean- so we are not going to fool you. They came to Mykonos to give everything and more!

2. Sunset in Santorini – magical moment of a group trip to Greece
Santorini is probably one of the most awaited destinations for anyone who wants to take a trip to Greece in a group or alone, and this island is totally captive. Santorini conquered us from the first moment, from the moment we got off the ferry and felt the breeze, we observed its cliffs and we discovered the powerful energy that emanates from its volcanic lands. However, there is a moment for which Santorini is more than famous throughout the world and that moment is its sunset.
Whether from a viewpoint in the beautiful little town of Oia, from the comfort of our incredible hotel overlooking the sea, or sailing on a luxury catamaran accompanied by a glass of ourzo -yes, the latter is hands down the best-, witness the Santorini’s beautiful sunset is a dream come true.
3. Swim among the caves of Milos -and the most crystalline waters you will see in Europe-
The less traveled and lesser known island of Milos is a true hidden paradise. This beautiful island breathes peace and tranquility, its people are the friendliest you will meet in Greece and its fish and shellfish are the most delicious. But, there is one thing that exceeds all expectations: its impressive geography!
A sailboat trip through the geological formations of this volcanic island is a total highlight of a trip to Greece in a group or alone, the difference is that doing it with people you already know in a private boat gives it another meaning and makes it! much more entertaining!
During our stay in Milos we have a full day touring the impressive caves that surround this island, entering and swimming among them, and in the process, in some of the most crystalline and clean waters that you will see in all of Europe.
4. Discover the beginnings of Western civilization in the Acropolis of Athens
One of the most important places in the entire history of Western civilization is the Acropolis of Athens and being face to face with monuments as important -and impressive- as the Parthenon, is a milestone in the life of anyone who admires the history of The cultures.
Despite the fact that the site is quite full of tourists, the experience of touring this place is still relevant, and above all, when we can do it with the help of expert local guides who tell us all the details of this place that is so significant for Greece. and for all of Europe and the West.
5. Taste the delicious Greek gastronomy -ice creams, cheeses, salads, cold cuts and much MORE!
Greece has become one of our favorite foodie destinations in the world! And it is that everywhere, no matter where or how much it costs, Greek food is eternally delicious.
Could it be that their products are local and the Greeks have maintained a fairly fair and traditional trade in relation to their raw materials, or it will be because the Mediterranean air makes everything taste better… It doesn’t matter! What is relevant is that people also come to Greece to eat, to enjoy themselves and in BALIBUTA we know this well.
